O 172 <10 .' .. ORDINANCE NO. 172 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 157 OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE, SO AS TO RE-ZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS : SECTION l. Section 3.2 of Ordinance No. 157 of the City of Arroyo Grande, said Ordinance being known as "THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE" is herewith aaencfed as follows: The "ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE" referred to in said Section 3.2 of Ordinance No. 157 is amended so that the zones and boundaries of certain of the Districts Wbown therein and thereon are changed so as to be the zones and boundaries as shown and designated on the Map attached hereto, and by reference incorporated herein, which map is entitled "A SECTION OF THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE, AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 172 , OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE", and said map and all notations and references shown thereon shall be as auch a part of this Ordinance as if the aatters shown on .aid Map were all fully described herein, and the Districts and Zones and Boundaries as shown on the Map attached hereto shall be the Districts and Zones and Boundaries of the property shown therein from and after the effective date of the adoption of this Ordinance. The properties intended to be Re-Zoned and the changes in the zoning accoaplished hereby are described as follows, to-wit: The following parcels of real property located in the City of Arroyo Grande, and particulatly described as follows: "".." PARCEL II: That portion of Lot 105 according to the map of parts of the Ranchos Corral de Piedra, Pismo and Bolsa deChemisal, surveyed by Jas. T. Stratton, C.E., September, l873,in the City of Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis Obispo, State of Califon1ia, filed for record in the office of the county recorder of said county, described as follows: Commencing at the southeast corner of Lot 8, Block 16, according to map of the Western Addition to the Town of Arroyo Grande, recorded in Book B, page 10 of Maps, records of said county; thence North 660 57' East along the southerly line of said addition, 150.00 feet to the northwest corner of property conveyed to J. R. Varley and wife by deed dated August 22, 1935 and recorded in Book 171 page 259 of Official Records; thence along the westerly line of the property so conveyed South 00 09' East 121.98 feet to the north- easterly corner of the property conveyed to John W. Burnham and wife, by deed dated April 17, 1936 and recorded in Book 192 page 224 of Official Records, recorda of said county; thence along the northerly line of the property so conveyed, South 660 57' West 150 feet; thence North O. 09' West 121.98 feet to the point of beginning. It is proposed that the above-described property be re-zoned from R-l to C-l Zone. PARCEL III: That '\portion of Lot 1 in Block 1 of Tract 46 as shown by Map Book 5, pate 64 of Mapa, Records of San Luis Obispo County, California, descr bed as follows: Commencing at the most Southerly corner of said Lot, said point being shown as No. 10 on the officiallll&p 01, ..id Tract, thence North 80. 18' West along the Southerly line of said Lot 53.54 feet to the true point of beginning, the~~orth 220 26' East, 201.88 feet to the Northerly line of said . th8nce North 80. 18' West 180 feet to a point, thence Southerly ~ a direct line to a goint on the Southerly line of said Lot; said point being North 80 18' West, 180 feet from the ~point of beginning; thence South 80. 18' East, 180 feet to the true point of beginning. It is proposed that the above-described property be re-zoned from R-l to R-3 Zone. PARCEL IV: All that portion of Lot 1, Block 1 of Tract 46 accord- ing to the map thereof filed in Book 5 of Maps at page 64, records of San Luis Obispo County, that lies westerly of Parcel III as described above. This Ordinance shall be in full force and I effect thirty (30) days after itsiJNI88age, and within fifteen (15) days after its passage it shall be published once, together with the names of the Councilmen voting thereon, in the Arroyo Grande Herald Recorder.
