ORDINANCE NO. 168
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANBE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.
157 OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE, SO AS TO ZONE CERTAIN HERETOFORE
UNZONED PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 3.2 of Ordinance No. 157 of the City of Arroyo
Grande, said Ordinance being known as "THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE" is herewith amended as follows:
The "ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE" referred to in said
Section 3.2 of Ordinance No. 15~ is amended so that the zones and boundaries
of certain of the Districts shown therein and thereon are changed so as to
be the zones and boundaries as shown and designated on the Map attached
hereto, and by reference incorporated herein, which map is entitled, IIA
SECTION OF THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE, AMENDED BY ORDIN-
ANCE NO. 168 , OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE," and said map and all
notations and references shown thereon shall be as much a part of this
Ordinance as if the matters shOwn on said Map were all fully described

herein. And the Districts and zones and biundaries as shown on the Map
attached hereto shall be the Districts and zones and boundaries of the pro-
perty shown therein from and after the effective date of the adoption of
this Ordinance. The properties intended to be zoned .nd the changes in zoning
accomplished hereby are described as follows, to-wit:

ARROYO GRANDE ANNEXATION" is now zoned into var ious zones as shown in the
map entitled I~ SECTION OF THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE,
AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 168 OF THE C!TY OF ARROYO GRANDE," above re-
ferred to.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance is necessary for the health and safety of
the citizens of the City of Arroyo Grande. The reasons therefor are as
follows: The property being zoned is in an area which will be improved
and certain presently objectionable conditions will thereby be eliminated.
The earliest possible elimination of said objectionable conditions will be
beneficia:1 to the health and safety of the citizens of the City of Arroyo
Grande. Accordingly, this Ordinance shall take effect immediately, and
within fffteen (15) days after its passage, it shall be published once in
the Arroyo Grande Herald Recorder, together with the names of the Councilmen
voting thereon.
