1 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING TO UNION OIL COMPANY OF
CALIFORNIA, A CALIFORNIA CORPORATION, PERMISSION
2 : TO CONSTRUCT, MAINTAIN, OPERATE AND REMOVE
BUILDINGS, TANKS, PIPE LINES AND SUCH APPURTEN-
3, ANCES, APPLIANCES AND FACn.ITIES AS MAY BE .
NECESSARY FOR A DISTRIBUTING STATION FOR THE
4 STORAGE, HANDLING AND SALE OF PETROLEUM PRODUCTS
(ON CERTAIN PROPERTY SITUATE IN THE CITY OF
5 ARROYO GRANDE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA.

7 FOLLOWS: I
8 Section 1: Union Oil Company of California, a I
9 California corporation, having duly filed its application,
10 dated November 21st, 1929, for permission to construct, maintain,
11 operate and remove buildings, tanks, pipe lines and such
12 appurtenances, appliances and facilities as may be necessary
13 for a distributing station for the storage, handling and sale
14 of petroleum products on t?e following described property, I
15 situate in the City of Arroyo Grande, State of California,
16 to-wit:
17 Beginning at a point on the southerly
margin of Allen Street, Woods' Addition to the
18 City of Arroyo Grande, California; said point
being 120.5 feet, measured along said southerly
19 margin of Allen street, southwesterly from the
center line of the Pacific Coast Railway;
20 then.ce South 330 21' East (P.C. Railway's
Meridian) 290 feet, more or less, to a point
21 which is 30 feet from, measured at right angles
to, the above mentioned center line of the
22 Pacific Coast Railway; thence northwesterly
304 feet, more or less, along a line parallel
23 with, and 'distant 30 feet from, measured at
right angles to the center line of the Pacific
24 Coast Railway, to an intersection with the
southerly margin of Allen Street; thence south-
25 westerly along said southerly margin of Allen
Street 90.50 feet to the place of beginning,

and said application having been duly considered by the City
27
Council in regular session assembled, it is hereby ordained in
28
the public interest and convenience that permission be and is
29
hereby granted to Union 011 Company ot Cal1:CoI'nia, a Cal1fornia
30
corporation, to construct. maintain, operate and remove buildings,
31
tanks, pipe lines and such appurpenances, applianoes and

facilities as may be necessary for a distributing station for I

2 the storage, handling and sale of petroleum products on that
3 certain parcel of land in the City of Arroyo Grande, state of
4 California hereinbefore described.
5 Section 2: Said Union Oil Company of California shall
6 pay all costs incidental to the passage and publication of this I
I
7 ordin4nce. [

8 Section 3: The City Clerk shall certify to the I
