A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE CHANGING THE TITLE OF CITY CLERK (STAFF) TO
DIRECTOR OF ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City Council is authorized by law to establish employment positions as
it deems necessary to effectively operate municipal services; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of Arroyo
Grande to establish the employment position of Director of Administrative Services.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. The title of City Clerk (staff) is hereby changed to Director of Administrative
Services, which shall be a full-time, management position. Compensation for the .
position of Director of Administrative Services shall be as established by the Council.
2. Effective May 1, 1999, Section VI C., Evaluation of the City Clerk, of the City's
Personnel Regulations shall be deleted.
