PC R 12-2147 RESOLUTION NO. 12-2147 IA RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE RECOMMENDING THE CITY COUNCIL ADOPT AN ORDINANCE ADDING SECTION 16.20.140.E TO THE ARROYO GRANDE MUNICIPAL CODE REGARDING "SERIAL" LOT LINE ADJUSTMENTS; APPLIED FOR BY THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE � WHEREAS, the City of Arroyo Grande has initiated a Development Code Amendment to prohibit "serial" lot line adjustments; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed this project in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the State CEQA Guidelines, and the Arroyo Grande Rules and Procedures for Implementation of CEQA and has determined that the � project is exempt per Sections 15061(b)(3) and 15308 of the Guidelines; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo Grande has reviewed the project at a duly noticed public hearing on January 17, 2012; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds, after due study, deliberation and public -- hearing,.the following circumstances exist: Development Code Amendment Findings: 1. The proposed revision is consistent with the goals, objectives, policies and programs of the General Plan, and is necessary and desirable to implement to provisions of the General Plan. The potential environmental impacts of the proposed revision are insignificant, or there are overriding considerations that outweigh the potential impacts. No significant potential environmental impacts have been identified relafing to the proposed revision. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of . .Arroyo Grande hereby recommends the City Council adopt an ordinance adding Section 16.20.140.E to the Arroyo Grande Municipal Code based on the above findings.
