RESOLUTION NO. 3061
A RESOLUTION OF THE ARROYO GRANDE CITY COUNCIL
ACCEPTING THE SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY CLERK'S
CERTIFICATE-RESULTS OF CANVASS OF ALL VOTES
CAST AT THE GENERAL ELECTION NOVEMBER 8, 1994
IN THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE
WHEREAS, on November B, 1994, a General Election was held in
the County of San Luis Obispo; and
WHEREAS, included on the ballot for said General Election
'--- was a listing of candidates for Mayor and city council Members
for the City of Arroyo Grande in its scheduled Gena~al Municipal
Election; and
WHEREAS, the San Luis Obispo County Clerk did in fact
conduct said election and canvass the returns of the votes cast
at said General Election held on November B, 1994, and provide-
said results of canvass to the Office of the city Clerk, city of
Arroyo Grande, a copy of which is attached and incorporated as a
part, of this document.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
city of Arroyo Grande does hereby accept the County Clerk's
certificate - Results of Canvass of All Votes Cast in the city's
General Municipal Election Appearing on the November B, 1994,
General Election Ballot (Exhibit "A").
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall immediately
make and deliver to each of the persons so elected a certificate
of Election signed by the city Clerk and authenticated; that the
city Clerk shall administer to each person elected the Oath of
Office prescribed in the Constitution of the State of California
; and shall have them subscribe to it and file it in the Office of
the city Clerk. Each and all of the persons so elected shall
I then be inducted into the respective office to which they have
-- been elected.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the city Clerk shall certify to
the passage and adoption of this resolution and enter it into the
book of original resolutions.
On motion of Council Member SOllza , seconded by
council Member Brandy , and on the following roll call
vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Souza, Brandy, Burke, Lady and Mayor Gallagher
