RESOLUTION NO. 3060
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE
DECLARING SURPLUS PROPERTY TO BE
DONATED TO THE SANTA COP PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the city of Arroyo Grande has certain property
consisting of bicycles that have been turned into the Police
Department as found items, or for other reasons, and not claimed
by the owners; and
! ' WHEREAS, the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Department is
conducting a program to rehabilitate bicycles and donate them to
'---- needy children, and said bicycles will be distributed through the
Arroyo Grande police Department's "Santa Cop" program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Arroyo
Grande does declare as surplus the property listed on Exhibit
"A;" and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bicycles deolared as surplus
be donated to the San Luis Obispo county Sheriff's Department for
rehabilitation and distribution through the Arroyo Grande Police
Department's "Santa Cop" program.
On motion of council Member Brandy , seconded by
Council Member Burke , and on the following roll call
vote, to wit:
AYES: Council MenDer Brandy, Burke, Souza, lady and Mayor Gallagher
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 22nd day of
November, 1994.
