R 3057 .. ... RESOLUTION NO. 3057 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DECLARING ITEMS TO BE SURPLUS AND REQUESTING AUTHORIZATION TO DONATE THEM TO THE SOUTH COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY WHEREAS, the city of Arroyo Grande has certain property consisting of four portable voting booths in wooden cases used in J elections conducted by the city in years past; and WHEREAS, the voting booths have not been used by the city for many years, and because of their age, design and con~iti0n would not be suitable for use in future elections; and WHEREAS, the South county Historical Society is plannin'J to establish a museum in Arroyo Grande arid is collecting items of an historical nature for the museum; and WHEREAS, the South County Historical society has the knowledge, means and materials to preserve historical items such as the voting booths. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the city council of the city of Arroyo Grande does declare the four voting booths as surplus and approves the donation of said booths to the South County Historical society.
