RESOLUTION NO. 3055
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DECLARING
ITS INTENTION TO LEVY AND COLLECT ASSESSMENTS
IN LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING DISTRICT NO. 1,
WITHIN TRACT 1769, FOR THE 1994-1995 FISCAL YEAR
WHEREAS, on June 9, 1992, the city Council of the city of
Arroyo Grande ordered the formation of Arroyo Grande Landscaping
and Lighting Assessment District No.1, within Tract 1769,
containing 30 single family homesites and located at Farroll
Avenue and Oak Park Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, the assessment of $3,000 or $100 per assessable
parcel was confirmed for the initial fiscal year of 1992-1993,
and, according to the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972, it is
necessary to follow notice and hearing procedures prior to each
annual maintenance assessment levy; and
WHEREAS, the city Council of the City of Arroyo Grande has
held a public hearing on Tuesday, September 27, 1994, at a
regular meeting in the council Chambers, 215 East Branch street,
to afford interested persons the opportunity to hear and be heard
on the matter of the assessment levy.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that it is the intention of
the city council of the city of Arroyo Grande to levy and collect
assessments totalling $3,000 or $100 per assessable parcel in
Tract 1769 Landscaping and Lighting Assessment District No. 1,
for fiscal year 1994-1995.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the city council of the city of
Arroyo Grande that adoption of this resolution shall constitute
the levy of assessments for the 1994-1995 fiscal year, as shown
on Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
On motion of council Member Burke , seconded
by council Member Lady , and on the following roll call
vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Burke, Lady, Brandy, Souza and Mayor Gallagher
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 27th day of
September, 1994.
