RESOLUTION NO. 3045
A RESOLUTION OF TIlE CITY COUNCIL OF TI~E
CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE RECOGNIZING
RESERVE OFFICER JEFFRY BROMBY AS TIlE
1994 RESERVE OFFICER OF TIlE YEAR
WHEREAS, the Arroyo Grande Police Department annually selects a member of its fOl-Cp. '0
be recognized as the Reserve Officer of the Year; and
WHEREAS, no higher honor can be received than the honor of one's peers within the Polico
Profession for distinguished service; and
WHEREAS, the Arroyo Grande Reserve Officer of the Year Award for 1994 has been bestowed ~
upon Reserve Officer Jeffry Bromby, as the Reserve Officer most distinguished within the Arroyo ."'."
Grande Police Department because of his outstanding service to the community, his exemplary
professionalism, and his service and accomplishments; and
WHEREAS, Reserve Officer Bromby has consistently received the praise and con1lnendCltiPI1~
from not only his peers, but the community at large, as well as during his 3~ years with the Department:
and
WIIEREAS, Reserve Officer Bromby has given much more than is expected to the Department
in filling numerous regular shifts at a minimum of notice and doing an excellent job in the field
exhibiting teamwork, professionalism and service to the community. He has voluntarily assulT1r>d
the responsibility of a member of the Special Response Team which shows his commitment to III,!
community and the citizens of the City of Arroyo Grande.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande, ill
its regular session assembled this 23rd day of August, 1994, that it hereby extends to Reserve OHk,'r
Bromby Its highest commendation for the exceptional quality of his work and for the Inspiring statllJ'p
of his demeanor.
