RESOLUTION NO. 3043
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE RECOGNIZING
OFFICER ROBERT CHUBBUCK AS THE
1994 POLICE OFFICER OF THE YEAR
WHEREAS, the Arroyo Grande Police Department annually selects a member of its force to
be recognized as the Police Officer of the Year: and
WHEREAS, no higher honor can be received than the honor of one's peers within the Police
Profession for distinguished service: and
WHEREAS, the Arroyo Grande Police Officer of the Year Award for 1994 has been bestowe';,....
upon Police Officer Robert Chubbuck, as the Police Officer most distinguished within the Arroyo
Grande Police Department because of his outstanding service to the community, his exemplary
professionalism, and his service and accomplishments: and
WHEREAS, Police Officer Chubbuck has consistently received the praise and commendations
from not only his peers, but the community at large, as well as during his 7 years with 1iH! f'epartment;
and
WHEREAS, Police Officer Chubbuck is recognized by many police oP'kerc; hr his cr.:1si!;fency
in exhibiting the Department's goals and values and his pleasant and help;.tf t'laltude towarc! other
members of the department as well as the public. Officer Chubbuck is truly a generall~t officer,
showing strong abilities in traffic, criminal and follow-up investigations and (.nfor~omeilt ar:d his
work product is above reproach. He has voluntarily assumed the responsibil:ty of a member of the
Special Response Team which shows his commitment to the community and tht> citizens of +he City
of Arroyo Grande.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande, in
its regular session assembled this 23rd day of August, 1994, that it hereby extends to Police Officer
Chubbuck its highest commendation for the exceptional quality of his work and for the inspiring
stature of his demeanor. '
On motion of Council Member Burke , seconded by Council Member Souza .
