R 3040 RESOLt1rION N). 3040 A RESOLtJrION OF THE CITY C<:XJOCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE ~IOO AUl'OORIZATION TO CILSE VARIOlS S'l'RmrS FOR THE ARROYO VALLEY Cl5TOM CAR srow WHEREAS, organizers of the 1994 Arroyo Valley Custom Car Show have requested closure of portions of Mason, Bridge, Nelson, and Short Streets and the Olman Alley/City Hall Parking Lot for the annual custom autanobile exhibition on Saturday, July 30, 1994; and WHEREAS, menbers of the Arroyo Valley Car Club will be responsible for traffic -- control and cleanup at the show. Wi, THEREFORE, THE CITY C<:XJOCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO' GRAWE HEmBY RESOLVES AS FOLJ:aol): l. That Mason Street, from Branch Street to Nelson Street, shall be closed from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 30, 1994, for the purposes of registration of car show participants; 2. That Bridge Street, from Branch Street to Traffic Way; Nelson Street, from Traffic Way to Mason Street, with the intersection at Short Street reJIBining clear and open; Short Street, from Branch Street to Olohan Alley; and the Olohan Alley/City Hall Parking Lot, shall be closed from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 30, 1994, for the purposes of displaying the custan cars; 3. That the Arroyo Valley Car Club will present a written plan for approval to the Police Department regarding traffic control by Friday, July 22, 1994. The plan IlUst specify traffic control measures, use of barricades, designated signing, and detour routes to be utilized between 6:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on the day of the car show; 4. That an ad will be placed in the local newspaper advising residents of street closures; 5. That barricades will be posted with closure dates; 6. That the Arroyo Valley Car Club will actlere to certain requirements and conditions as set forth by the Fire Department regarding food booths and outdoor events; and 7. That menbers of the Arroyo Valley Car Club will be responsible for the proper amount of restroom facilities, trash dumpsters, and cleanup of affected areas during and after the show; 8. That the Arroyo Valley Car Club will provide a $1,000,000 insurance policy noting the City as additional insured.
