RESOLUTION NO. 3036
A RESOLUTION OF TIlE CITY COUNCIL OF TIlE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE APPROVING AN APPLICATION
FOR FUNDING AND THE EXECUTION OF A GRANT
FROM TIlE PLANNING/TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE
ALLOCATION OF mE STATE CDBG PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande has held a public hearing
on this application and finds as follows:
-. -" SECTION 1. - The City Council has reviewed and hereby approves an application for up to
$30,000 for an Economic Opportunities Study.
SECTION 2. - The City Council has reviewed the citizen participation plan for compliance with
federal statute and has determined that this plan was followed for the development of this
application.
SECTION 3. - The City Council hereby approves the use of General Revenue Funds in the
amount of $5,100 to be used as the City's Case Match for this project.
SECTION 4. - The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to act on the City's behalf
in all matters pertaining to this application.
SECTION 5. - If the application is approved, the City Manager is authorized to enter into and
sign the grant agreement and any subsequent amendments with the State of California for the
purposes of this grant.
NOW, TIIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande approves said application.
On motion of Council Member Brandy, seconded by Council Member Lady , and
by the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Brandy, Burke, Lady and Mayor Gallagher
NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Member Souza
