'!hat pursuant to the requirements of the laws of the State of California relating to General Law Cities within the State, there is called and ordered held in the City of Arroyo Grande, California, on Tuesday, Novenber 8, 1994, a General Municipal Election of the qualified electors of the City for the puqpose of electing a Mayor of the City for a full term of two. years, and two menDers of the City Council for full terms of four years. , SECrION 2. That the ballots to be used at the election shall be, in form and content, such as may be required by law to be used in the election. SECrION 3. '!hat the City Clerk of the City is authorized, instructed, and directed to procure and furnish any and all official ballots, notices, pr:inted matter, and all supplies, equipnent, and paraphernalia that may be necessary in order to properly and lawfully conduct the election. SECrION 4. '!hat the polls for the election shall be open at seven o'clock a.m. of the day of the election and shall remain open continuously fran that time until eight o'clock p.m. of the same day when the polls shall be closed, except as provided i in Section 14301 of the Elections Code of the State of California. I ......--.-' SEcr'ION 5. That in all particulars not recited in this Resolution, the election shall be held and conducted as provided by law for holding nunicipal elections in the City. SECrION 6. '!hat notice of the tine and place of holding the election is given, and the City Clerk is authorized, instructed, and directed to give such further or additlonal notlce of the election in tine, form, and manner as required by law. SECrION 7. ']hat the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution and enter it into the book. of original Resolutions.
