A RESOLUl'ION OF THE CITY COUOCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO ~E
REQUESTIOO AUl'HORIZATION 'ID CLOSE BIWQI STREET (HIGHWAY 227)
'ID FILM PORTIONS OF THE nNIE "LI'ITLE GIANl'S"

WHEREAS, Warner Brothers has requested closure of a portion of Branch street
(Highway 227) in the City of Arroyo Grande, State of California, on Monday, June 13,
1994, for a period from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.7 and
WHEREAS, the closure will be for the purpose of filming portions of the movie
- -- "Little Giants"; and
WHEREAS, the Arroyo Grande Police Department will arrange for signing, detouring
of traffic, and all traffic control dur.ing the period of time that said street is
requested for closure.
taV, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUOCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRAN:>E HmEBY RESOLVES
AS F'OI..UH):
l. '!hat request be made of the State of California Department of Transportation
for permission to close a portion of Branch Street, also known as Highway 227, from
Traffic Way to Mason Street, on June 13, 1994, between the hours of 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
2. '!hat the City Council authorizes closure of said street upon receipt of
approval from the State Department of Transportation to said closure.
3. '!hat the Arroyo Grande Police Department will control traffic around the
street closure, and its officers will be stationed to give instructions to motorists
regarding detouring around the street closure.
