RESOLUTION NO. 2990
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DECLARING
ITS INTENTION TO LEVY AND COLLECT ASSESSMENTS
IN LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING DISTRICT NO. 1,
WITHIN TRACT 1769, FOR THE 1993-1994 FISCAL YEAR
WHEREAS, on June 9, 1992 , the city council of the city of
Arroyo Grande ordered the formation of Arroyo Grande l,andscaping
and Lighting Assessment District No. 1, within Tract 1769, -,-~-
containing 30 single family homesites and located at Farroll Avenue
and Oak Park Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, the assessment of $3,000.00 or $100.00 per assessable
parcel was confirmed for the initial fiscal year of 1992-1993, and,
according to the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972, it is
necessary to follow notice and hearing procedures prior to each
annual maintenance assessment levy; and
WHEREAS, the City council of the ci ty of Arroyo Grande has
held a public hearing on Tuesday, June 8, 1993, at a regular
meeting in the council Chambers, 215 East Branch Street, to afford
interested persons the opportunity to hear and be heard on the
matter of the assessment levy. .
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that it is the intention of the
city council of the city of Arroyo Grande to levy and collect
assessments totalling $3,000.00 or $100.00 per assessable parcel in
Tract 1769 Landscaping and Lighting Assessment District No. 1 , for
fiscal year 1993-1994.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the city council of the city of
Arroyo Grande that adoption of this resolution shall confirm the
assessment diagram, as shown on Exhibit nAil attached hereto, and
constitute the levy of an assessment for the 1993-1994 fiscal year.
said diagram and assessment shall be filed by the city Clerk not
later than July 23, 1993, the deadline set by the County Auditor-
Controller.
On motion of council Member Burke , seconded by
council Member Souza , and on the following roll
call vote, to wit:
A YES: Council Members Burke, Souza, Brandy and Mayor Gallagher
NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Member Moots
