RESOLUTION NO. 2942
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE ESTABLISHING PARKING AND
PEDESTRIAN RESTRICfIONS ON A PORTION OF WEST
BRANCH STREET
WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable to reestablish parking restrictions for commercial
loading to suit current needs on a portion of West Branch Street, as specifically described
- below; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable to public safety that a pedestrian crossing
restriction be established at this location;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande as follows:
1. That Resolution No. 1158 establishing a loading zone fronting
104-112 West Branch Street is hereby rescinded;
2. That pedestrians are hereby prohibited from utilizing the
crosswalk extending across West Branch Street from the west
side of Bridge Street; and
3. That, effective upon amendment of Municipal Code Section
4-3.02 (e), a commercial loading zone is established fronting
102 West Branch Street, with effective times to be indicated
and modified by the Director of Public Works in accordance
with prevailing needs.
On motion of Council Member D:>ugall , seconded by Council Member
- Smith , and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: ColU1cil Members D:>ugall, Smith, Gallagher and Mayor Pro Tern Moots
NOES: None
ABSENT: Mayor Millis
