A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE AMENDING
RESOLUTION NO. 2916 REGARDING THE CLOSURE
OF STREETS AND "NO PARKING" ZONES DURING
THE 1992 ANNUAL STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL
WHEREAS, on February 25, 1992 by Resolution No. 2916, the City
council of the City of Arroy.o Grande approved closure and "no
parking" zones on certain City streets during the May 23 and 24,
...... 1992 strawberry Festival. and
WHEREAS, the Arroyo Grande police Department believes it will
be necessary to increase the amount of "no parking" zones in order
to insure safety and the smooth flow of traffic during the
festivaL
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the city council of the
ci ty of Arroyo Grande amends Resolution No. 2916 by adding uno
parking" zones on Nelson street, between Traffic Way and Mason
street, and on Mason Street, between Nelson and Branch Streets, for
the period of 6:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Saturday, May 23, and Sunday,
May 24, 1992. Said "no parking" zones will be added to ones
already designated during the festival on Branch street, between
Traffic Way and Mason street, and on Bridge Street, between Branch
and Nelson Streets.
On motion of council Member Dougall , seconded by
council Member Smith , and on the following roll call
vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Dougall, Smith, Moots, Gallagher and Mayor Milli
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 12th day of
May, 1992.
