RESOLUTION NO. 2912
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE SETI'ING FORTH ITS INTENTION
TO VACATE AND ABANDON A PUMP STATION
EASEMENT, IN THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE, AND
FIXING TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING AS PROVIDED
BY STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE SECTION 8300, ET

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande elects to proceed with
the vacation and abandonment of a pump station easement pursuant to Section 8320 of the
Streets and Highways Code of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the pump station easement. is unnecessary for present
or prospective public use; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the abandonment is for the best interests of the public.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE that it intends to vacate and abandon the hereinafter
described pump station easement in the City of Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis Obispo,
State of California. For this purpose, the City Council will hold a Public Hearing in
coMection with said intention to vacate and abandon the hereinafter described pump station
easement, which hearing will be held in the Council Chambers, 215 East Branch Street,
Arroyo Grande, on the 10th day of March, 1992, at the hour of 7:30 p.m. at said time and
place, those persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation and abandonment
may appear and be heard.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of Arroyo Grande
be, and is herewith directed to cause to be posted along said pump station easement at ~
intervals not to exceed three hundred (300) feet in distance apart and at least three (3) in
number on said easement, notices of passage of Resolution, which said notices shall be
entitled 'NOTICE OF INTENTION TO VACATE AND ABANDON A PUMP STATION
EASEMENT, IN THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE, COUNTY OF
SAN LUIS OBISPO, STATE OF CAUFORNIA,'
In addition thereto, the City Clerk is herewith ordered and directed to cause a copy
of said Resolution to be published at least two successive weeks prior to the hearing in the
newspaper of general circulation within the City, which publication shall be at least ten (10)
days prior to the date of said hearing.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the pump station easement, which the City
of Arroyo Grande proposes to vacate and abandon, is more particularly described as follows:
All of Parcel A designated as Pump Station Easement in Lot 1
of Tract 577, recorded in Volume 9, Page 2 of Maps, in the
County Recorder's Office, San Luis Obispo County, California.
Further particulars as to the proposed vacation and abandonment are shown on the
map pertaining thereto on me in the Office of the City Clerk of the City of Arroyo Grande,
California. --
