RESOLUTION NO. 2904
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE
DECLARING CERTAIN DIRT LOCATED
AT THE CITY CORPORATION YARD
AS SURPLUS AND OFFERING SAID
DIRT FOR SALE
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department of the City of Arroyo
-- Grande has accumulated in recent years approximately 6,000 cubic -
yards of dirt at the city Corporation Yard, 1375 Ash Street; and
WHEREAS, said dirt is of no use to the City, and the location
of said dirt soon will be needed for a baseball playing field; and

WHEREAS, the Acting Public Works Director has proposed that
the dirt be declared surplus and that it be sold to the public at
a cost as close to the market value as possible.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the
city of Arroyo Grande does declare as surplus and approve for sale,
at a cost as close to the market value as possible, approximately
6,000 cubic yards of dirt located at the City Corporation Yard.
On motion of Council Member Smith , seconded by
Council Member Dougall , and on the following roll call
vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Member Smith, Dougall, Moots and Mayor Millis
NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Member Gallagher
the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted this 14th day of
January, 1992.
