ORDINANCE NO. 443 C.S.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATED TO CITY SEWER CHARGES BY
AMENDING CHAPTER 6 OF TITLE 6, SECfION 6-6.1001.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DOES HEREBY
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: Section 6-6.1001 of the Municipal Code is hereby amended to read in
full as follows:

All customers, upon connection to a public sewer line, shall be required to pay a
bimonthly sewer service charge for those pipelines and appurtenances constructed ,
maintained, and operated by the City primarily for the collection of sewage and the
conveyance thereof to the sewage plant owned and operated by the South San Luis Obispo
County Sanitation District in accordance with the following schedule effective May 20,1992:

(1) Single-family dwellings $4.00 per month
(2) Each single-family dwelling unit $4.00 per month
in any duplex, multiple dwelling,
apartment house, mobile home, or
travel trailer.
(3) Motels and hotels $2.20 per unit per month without
kitchen facilities; $2.65 per unit
with kitchen facilities.
(4) Commercial, industrial, and
businesses:
Sin~le Business with separate $4.00 per month or 50% of the
sewer service and water meter water bill, whichever sum is
greater.
Multiple ~usin~sses on one sewer
service and water meter:

SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty (30) days after
its passage, and within fifteen (15) days after its passage it shall be published once, together
with the names of the Council Members voting thereon in the Five Cities Times-Press-
Recorder.
On motion of Council Member Smith, seconded by Council Member Dougall, and
on the following roll call vote, to wit:
A YES: Council Member Smith, Dougall, Moots, Gallagher and Mayor Millis
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Ordinance was passed and adopted this 24th day of March, 1992.
