RESOLUTION NO. 2892
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE REMOVING THE LANDMARK
TREE STATUS FROM A TREE AT 859 TODD LANE
AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 1906 WHICH
DESIGNATED LANDMARK TREE NO. 85-9
WHEREAS, Arroyo Grande Municipal Code section 10-3.06 states
that a Landmark Tree owner desiring to remove said tree from the
Landmark Tree program may petition the city council to adopt a
resolution repealing Landmark status from the tree; and
WHEREAS, the owners of a Landmark Tree No. 85-9 located at 859
Todd Lane have found their tree to be diseased, infested with
termites and root fungus, and in danger of falling, and desire to
remove the tree from the Landmark Tree program and their property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the city council of the
city of Arroyo Grande does hereby authorize the removal of the
Landmark status from the tree at 859 Todd Lane, and the repeal of
Resolution No. 1906, which designated said Landmark Tree.
on motion of council Member Smith , seconded by
council Member Dougall , and on the following roll call
vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Smith, Dougall, Moots and Mayor Millis
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 8th day of
october, 1991.
