RESOLUTION NO. 2490
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE ESTABLISHING
A "NO PARKING" ZONE ON A PORTION OF BRIGH1'ON AVENUE
(BRIGHTON FRONTAGE OF 280 OAK PARK BOULEVARD)
(MUNICIPAL CODE SEC. 2-7.04)
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to prohibit
parking on a portion of Brighton Avenue, as specifically described
below:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city Council of the City
of Arroyo Grande, as follows:
"- That a "No Parking" zone be established on the
southerly frontage of Brighton Avenue
extending from a point thirty two feet (32' )
east of the intersection of the centerlines of
Oak Park Boulevard and Brighton Avenue, thence
easterly to a point on the southerly right-of-
way line, one hundred fifty five feet (155' )
east of the intersection of the centerlines of
Oak Park Boulevard and Brighton Avenue. See
Exhibit "A".
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the city of
Arroyo Grande be, and is hereby authorized to provide and install
sufficient signs and/or markings to indicate said "No Parking"
zone.
On motion of Council Member Dougall seconded by Council
Member Smith and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Dougall, Smith, Moots and Mayor Millis
NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Member Olsen
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 24 th day of
