A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE ESTABLISHING A NO PARKING ,
ZONE ON THE EAST SIDE OF NORTH MASON STREET
FROM EAST BRANCH STREET TO LE POINT STREET
WHEREAS, it is necessary to restrict parking on the east side of North Mason Street
from East Branch Street to Le Point Street in order to provide for safe vehicle passage.
WHEREAS, on March 11, 2015 the Downtown Parking Advisory Board approved staff
recommendations to establish a No Parking Zone on the East Side of North Mason
Street from East Branch Street to Le Point Street.
WHEREAS, on March 23, 2015 the Traffic Commission approved staff
recommendations to establish a No Parking Zone on the East Side of North Mason
Street from East Branch Street to Le Point Street.
WHEREAS, the City of Arroyo Grande Municipal Code (AGMC) Section 10.16.050
authorizes the City Council to restrict parking on any street.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande does hereby establish a No Parking Zone on the east side of North Mason
Street from East Branch Street to Le Point Street and direct staff to appropriately
implement using signage or curb markings.
On motion of Council Member Barneich, seconded by Council Member Guthrie, and on
the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Barneich, Guthrie, Brown, Harmon, and Mayor, Hill -
NOES: None
ABSENT: None -
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 8th day of September 2015.
