RESOLUTION NO. 2486
A RESOLUTION ON THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE ESTABLISHING A "NO PARKING"
ZONE ON A PORTION OF SOUTH HALCYON ROAD
(124 S. HALCYON ROAD) (MUNICIPAL CODE SEC. 2-7.04)
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to prohibit parking on a portion of South
Halcyon Road, as specifically described below:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande, as follows:
That a "No Parking" zone be established on the westerly frontage
of South Halcyon Road, extending from a point two hundred
eighty feet (280') south of the intersection of the centerlines of
Halcyon Road and Grand Avenue, thence southerly to a point on
the westerly right-of-way line, three hundred five feet (305') south
of the intersection of the centerlines of Halcyon Road and Grand
Avenue. See Exhibit" A".
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City of Arroyo Grande
be, and is hereby authorized to provide and install sufficient signs and/or markings to indicate
said "No Parking" zone.
On motion of Council MemberDougall , seconded by Council Member Smith, and on
the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Dougall, Smith, Moots and Mayor Millis
NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Member Olsen
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 27thlay of August, 1991.
