RESOLUTION NO. 2484
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE AMENDING CURRENT DISPOSAL
SERVICE FRANCHISE AGREEMENT RATES, EFFECTIVE
SEPTEMBER 1, 1991
, WHEREAS, Municipal code Sections 6-4.10 and 6-4.11 provide for
i amendment of disposal service rates by the City Council of the City
i...... of Arroyo Grande; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed at a public meeting
new proposed disposal service rate increases of 5.96 percent or
$.40 per month for residential users and commensurate amounts for
commercial users.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the city Council of the
city of Arroyo Grande hereby amends the current rates, which were
effective April 1, 1991, to become the new rates, increased by 5.96
percent or $.40 per month for residential users and commensurate
amounts for commercial users, effective September 1, 1991. The rate
increase is in accordance with section 10.A. of the Disposal
Service Franchise Agreement between South County Sanitary Service,
Inc. , and the City of Arroyo Grande, dated February 1, 1991.
On motion of Council Member Smith , seconded by
Council Member Dougall , and on the following roll call vote, to
wit:
AYES: Council Members Smith, Dougall, Olsen, Moots and Mayor Millis
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 13th day of
