AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE AMENDING SECTION 2.28.050.D.
OF THE ARROYO GRANDE MUNICIPAL CODE
REGARDING THE MEETINGS OF THE SENIOR
ADVISORY COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Senior Advisory Commission currently meets on a quarterly basis on
the first Wednesday in August, November, February and May at 3:00 p.m.; and
WHEREAS, the Senior Advisory Commission desires to amend its regular meeting
schedule from a quarterly basis to an as needed basis. , : '

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: Section 2.28.050.D. of the Arroyo Grande Municipal Code is hereby
amended in its entirety, as follows:
Section 2.28.050.D. Rules and Regulations--Meetings. The commission shall, by
resolution, adopt rules and regulations to govern meetings.
SECTION 2: If any section, subsection, subdivision, paragraph, sentence, clause or
phrase of this Ordinance or any part thereof is for any reason held to be unlawful, such
decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portion of this Ordinance or any
part thereof. The City Council hereby declares that it would have passed each section,
subsection, subdivision, paragraph, sentence, clause, or phrase thereof, irrespective of
the fact that any one or more section, subsection, subdivision, paragraph, sentence,
clause or phrase be declared unlawful.
SECTION 3: Within fifteen (15) days after passage of this Ordinance, it shall be
published once, together with the names of the Council Members voting thereon, in a
newspaper of general circulation within the City.
SECTION 4: This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect thirty (30)
days after its passage.
On motion of Council Member Costello, seconded by Council Member Arnold, and on
the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Costello, Arnold, Guthrie, Fellows, and Mayor Ferrara
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Ordinance was passed and adopted this 10"' day of April 2007.
