RESOLUTION NO. ~
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2293
AND ACCEPTING PARCEL 1 OF PARCEL MAP AG 87-203
FROM ROYAL OAKS ESTATES
WHEREAS, the County of San Luis Obispo has elected to
subdivide one parcel of land into three in the City of Arroyo
Grande; and
WHEREAS, the County of San Luis Obispo has entered into an
agreement with Mid Coast Land company and others to exchange
properties; and
WHEREAS, 'said Mid Coast Land Company and othe~s have assigned '1
this agreement and the real property to Royal Oaks Estates; and
WHEREAS, a condition of the exchange is to transfer said
parcel of land from Royal Oaks Estates to the City of Arroyo Grande
subject to certain conditions; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend city of Arroyo Grande
Resolution No. 2293 to amend the transferor to Royal Oaks Estates,
and by correcting the legal description listed for said parcel of
land to read as follows:
Parcel 1 of Map AG 87-203 in the city of Arroyo Grande,
county of San Luis Obispo, State of California, filed in Book
44, Page 96 of Parcel Maps in the Office of the County
Recorder of said county.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the
City of Arroyo Grande does hereby accept on behalf of the public
Parcell of Parcel Map No. AG 87-203, subject to deed restrictions
stating that City of Arroyo Grande covenants and agrees that the
property shall be developed fol;' municipal use only and the property
shall be conveyed to the County of San Luis Obispo if not developed
with ten years; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Parcel 1 of AG 87-203 shall be
described as shown on the Partnership Grant Deed (Exhibit A)
attached to this Resolution, with conditions stated thereon in the
form of transfer of interest from Royal Oaks Estates.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Resolution shall be
I submitted to Escrow for concurrent recordation with r~c~~ua~lon of
Parcel Map No. AG 87-203 and other documentation deam."\d appropriate
to guarantee title to said Parcel 1 in favor of the r.ity of J.\T.roy.:>
Grande. A certified copy of this resolution shall De torwardeJ. to
the Board of supervisors and Ticor Title Escrow ~or the city of
Arroyo Grande.
