RESOLUTION NO. 2400
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE
ACCEPTING A GRANT OF REAL PROPERTY
LOCATED IN THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE, CALIFORNIA
AND APPROPRIATING NECESSARY FUNDS FOR ESCROW FEES
WHEREAS, OAK PARK ACRES, A Limited Partnership, by REUBEN
KVIDT, General partner, and CARL SHIELD, General Partner, is
l desirous of granting to the City of Arroyo Grande, real property
described as all of Lot 14 of Tract 604, consisting of 34.84 acres,
in the city of Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis Obispo, state of
California, according to that map recorded August 24, 1977 in Book
9, Page 39 of Maps, and corrected or amended, by correction or
addition to Parcel Map AG 79-840, as filed in Book 29 of Parcel
Maps at Page 79, Recorders Certificate filed October 3rd, 1980.
WHEREAS, the CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE is desirous of accepting
this grant of real property for open space, recreational trails and
park purposes: .
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
1. The City of Arroyo Grande accepts this most generous grant of
real property as described above from OAK PARK ACRES, by REUBEN
KVIDT and CARL SHIELD:
2. The City of Arroyo Grande appropriates funds in the amount of
$700.00 for the required escrow fees: and
3. The City Clerk's Office shall furnish a copy of this Resolution
to OAK PARK ACRES, The Director of Recreation, Director of Planning
and Director of Public Works. . ,
On motion of Council Member Smith, seconded by Council Member
Moots, and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Smith, Moots, Olsen, Dougall and Mayor
Millis
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 12th day of
June, 1990.
