A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE APPROVING NEIGHBORHOOD
TRAFFIC CALMING GUIDELINES
WHEREAS, neighborhoods in the City of Arroyo Grande have increasingly indicated
interest in traffic control measures and safety; and
WHEREAS, the City of Arroyo Grande encourages neighborhood input in such matters;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Arroyo Grande wishes to establish a consistent procedure
regarding Neighborhood Traffic Calming that ensures public involvement, safety and
efficient roadway use.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande does as follows:
1. The Neighborhood Traffic Calming Guidelines. date April 12, 2016, copies of
which are on file in the Office of the City Clerk, are hereby approved.
On motion of Council Member Brown, seconded by Council Member Harmon, and on
the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Brown, Harmon, Guthrie, Barneich, and Mayor Hill
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 12th day of April, 2016.
