WHmEI\S, the Planning Carmission of the City of Arroyo Grande has held
the required public hearing on Variance case No. 90-144 on March 6, 1990 in
accordance with Chapter 31 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Arroyo
Crande; and
WHmEM, the Planning Carmission denied the Variance upon finding, after
due study, deliberation and public hearing that the following circU'l'6tances
exist:
1- There are no exceptions or extraordinary cirCI.IIIStances applicable I

to this property. I
2. The strict application of the R-l zone does not deprive such -.J
property of privileges enjoyed by other properties in the vicinity
or SillOO zone.
WHEREAS, Richard and COleen Kubel have appealed the Planning
Carmission's decision to the City council: and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande has held the
required public hearing regarding the appeal on March 27, 1990; and

WHEREAS, the City COuncil has found, after due study, deliberation and
public hearing that the findings made by the Planning Ccmnission were
appropriate.
NCR, 'I.'HEREI."OOE, BE 1'1' RESOLVID that the City Council of the City of
Arroyo Crande hereby upholds Planning Carmission' s denial of said Variance
case No. 90-144.
