89-483 LOCATED AT 1131 FAIR OI\KS AVIOOJE, APPLIED FOR BY
KIRBY AND JILL GCIRIJOO AND DllNIEL K. DCWLING
WHERE!\S, the pI arming Camrl.ssion of the City of Arroyo Grande has held the
required public hearing on Parcel Map Case No. 89-483 on January 16, 1990 and
February 20, 1990 in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Subdivision Ordinance of
the City of Arroyo Grande; and '.
WHEREAS. the PI arming camrl.ssion denied the parcel map upon finding, after
due study, deliberation and public hearing that the following circll1\Stances
exist:
1. The proposed map, design and improvement of this subdivision is not
consistent with the General Plan maps because the General Plan
designation for this site is Low Density Residential 0.2 - 4.5
...... dwelling w1its per acre, and the proposed subdivision would result
in a density of 5.35 dwelling w1its per acre.
WHERE!\S, Kirby and Jill Gordon and Daniel K. Dowling have appealed the
Plarming Camrl.ssion's decision to the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande has held the
required public hearing regarding the appeal on March 13, 1990; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has found, after due study, deliberation and
public hearing that the findings made by the PI arming Camrl.ssion were
appropriate.
Nell, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande hereby upholds Planning Camrl.ssion' s denial of said Parcel Map Case No.
89-483.
On motion by Council Menher smith, seconded by Council Member Moots, and
by the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members smith, Moots, Olsen, Dougall and Mayor Millis
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: None
the foregoing Resolution was adopted this 13th day of March, 1990.
