RESOLUTION NO, 2370
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE ESTABUSHING A "SCHOOL BUS LOADING
AND UNLOADING" ZONE ON A PORTION OF ALDER STREET
(ALDER S'IREET FRONTAGE OF MARGARET HARLOE SCHOOL)
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to establish a "School Bus Loading
and Unloading" zone on a portion of Alder Street, as specifically described below:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande, as follows:
That a "School Bus Loading and Unloading" zone be established on the I
easterly frontage of Alder Street extending from a point two hundred three
feet (203') south of the centerline of the intersection of Fair Oaks Avenue ,
and Alder Street, southerly to a point on the easterly right of way line, three -.../
hundred twenty three feet (323') southerly of the centerline of the intersection
of Fair Oaks Avenue and Alder Street. See Exhibit "A",
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City of Arroyo
Grande be, and is hereby authorized to provide and install sufficient signs and/or markings
to indicate said "School Bus Loading and Unloading" zone.
On motion of Council Member Olsen , seconded by Council Member
Dougall , and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council ~rs Olsen, Dougall and Smith
NOES: None
ABSENT: Mayor Millis and Council Member ~s
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 13tiday ofFebruary 1990.
