R 2368 199 RESOLUTION NO. 2368 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE AUTHORIZING PARTICIPATION OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT IN THE SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY NARCOTIC TASK FORCE WHEREAS , the City of Arroyo Grande recognizes that the i trafficking and use of 11lici t drugs poses significant law enforcement and social problems within the County of San Luis I Obispo; and I WHEREAS , the city of Arroyo Grande recognizes that an I effective illicit drug enforcement program can be accomplished only i through the cooperative regional efforts of all the law enforcement jurisdictions within the County of San Luis Obispo; and WHEREAS, the City of Arroyo Grande desires that the Arroyo Grande Police Department should participate in the San Luis Obispo County Narcotic Task Force. '. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the City of Arroyo Grande adopt the Inter-Agency Agreement for the San Luis Obispo County Narcotic Task Force; 2. That the Chief of Police be designated as the City's representative to the Board of Governors of the san Luis Obispo County Narcotic Task Force: 3. That the Police Department provide manpower and support to the San Luis Obispo county Narcotic Task Force as delineated in the Inter-Agency Agreement for the San Luis Obispo County Narcotic Task Force; and 4. That this resolution shall remain in effect until June 30, 1993, the date of expiration for the Inter-Agency Agreement for the San Luis Obispo County Narcotic Task Force~ On motion of Council Member Dougall, seconded by Council Member Olsen, and on the following roll call vote, to wit: AYES: Council Members Dougall, Olsen and Smith NOES: None ABSENT: Mayor Millis and Council Member Moots the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted this 13th day of February, 1990.
