A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE ESTABUSHING
A IINO STOPPING OR PARKING DURING SCHOOL
HOURS" ZONE ON A PORTION OF FARROLL
AVENUE (1220 FARROLL AVENUE) (MUNICIPAL
: CODE SEC. 2-7.04)
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to prohibit stopping and parking
during school hours on a portion of Farroll Avenue, as specifically described below:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE, AS FOLLOWS:
That a IINo Stopping or Parking During School Hours" zone be
established on the northerly frontage of Farroll Avenue,
extending from a point six hundred ten feet (610') west of the
intersection of the centerline of Farroll Avenue and South Elm
Street, thence westerly to a point on the northerly right-of-way
line, nine hundred feet (900') west of the intersection of the
centerline of FarroH Avenue and South Elm Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City of Arroyo
Grande be, and is hereby authorized to provide and install sufficient signs and/or markings
to indicate said IINo Stopping or Parking During School Hours" zone.
On motion of Council Member Smith seconded by Council Member
Olsen, and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Smith, Olsen, Moots and Mayor Millis
NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Member Dougall
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 24thday of October, 1989.
