Water, we need to look into what we are going to do next year if we don't get rain, and
future years if the drought keeps going like everyone thinks it is going to.
Building a team that works together. I would expect a good city manager to work to be
inclusive, not exclusive. This council is so divided it is a disgrace to our city, and to
have a city manager clearly siding with only part of the council is wrong and needs to
stop. ,
Why was there no heads up given to this goal setting? This seems like a rush job and
no real thought was given to letting the public know about this.
The main 2 things at the present moment are water and communication, we don't
have enough of either one and everyone is feeling the pressure of it.
I think we need to come up with a way for staff to have input anonymously. Some are _
clearly not happy with how things are being done at the present moment, and they
say if they speak up they will not have a job anymore. This has been a problem for
some time now and they feel it has gotten worse in the last year. We need some
way for the council to know how employees feel and what problems they feel need to
be addressed.
We have gotten rid of one problem employee that should have been gone long ago.
We really need to have some feedback from employees to really understand what
incompetence they are seeing. They need some way to bring this forward, and
honestly, they don't feel comfortable going to the city manager.
