A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE
AUTHORIZING THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL
S~VICES 'l'O PURCHASE ITEMS FORAND ON BEHALF OF
THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE
WHEREAS, the city of Arroyo Grande wi she. to enueX' into a
Cooperative Purch~sing Agreement with the State of California; and
WHEREAS, the State of California requires a resolution by the
local agency authorizing such an arrangement.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Office of Procurement, Department of General
services of the State of California is authorized to purchase
material, supplies and equipment for and on behalf of the City of
Arroyo Grande pursuant to Section 10324 of the Public Contracts
Code of the State of California.
SECTION 2. The City Manager i.hereby authorized and directed
to sign and deliver all necessary requests and other documents in
connection therewith for and on behalf of the City of Arroyo
Grande.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk .shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution and shall cause this resolution and her
certification to be filed in the Office of the City Clerk.
On motion of Council Member Moots , seconded by Council
Member DoUCJall , and on the fOllowing roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: COUncil Members Moots, Dougall, Olsen and Smith
NOES: None
ABSENT :Mayor Millis
