RESOLUTION NO. 2331
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE AUTHORIZING
THE DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVICES OF THE STATE
OF CALIFORNIA TO PURCHASE AMMUNITION
FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY
WHEREAS, the-Police Department of the City of Arroyo Grande
has requested approval for the purchase of service and practice
ammunition for use in its weapons.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Arroyo Grande does hereby authorize the Office of
Procurement, Department of General Services of the State of
California to purchase ammunition for and on behalf of the City of
Arroyo Grande pursuant to Section 10324 of the Public Contract
Code, and that Chris Christiansen, city Manager, is hereby
authorized and directed to sign and deliver all necessary requests
and other documents in connection therewith for and on behalf of
the City of Arroyo Grande.
On motion of Council Member Dougall, seconded by Council
Member Smith, and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Dougall, Smith, Moots, Olsen and Mayor
Millis
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 25th day of
July, 1989.
