RESOLUTION NO. 2323
.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF (
ARROYO GRANDE ADOPTING A SALARY AND BENEFIT
PROGRAM FOR PART-TIME, FIRE VOLUNTEERS AND
POLICE RESER VES, FOR THE YEARS 1989/90 AND 1990/91;
AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 1974 ON JULY 1, 1989q .
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS' FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, this Council deems It In the best Interest of the City of Arroyo Grande
and its various employees that compensation be fixed for Part-Time, Fire Volunteers and I ~
Police Reserves, as hereinafter provided; and U
WHEREAS, the City Council intends that Part-Time, Fire Volunteers and Police
Reserves should receive a seven percent (7~) salary increase for fiscal year 1989/90 and a:.
five percent (5~) salary increase for fiscal year 1990/91.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the terms of this Resolution shall become
eCCective July 1, 1989, and shall apply to the 1989/90 and 1990/91 fiscal years.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that employee beneCits for Part-Time and Police
Reserve employees only, as listed below, shall consist of Vacation and Sick Leave on a pro-
rated basis (i.e., hours worked). ;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall supersede and repeal
Resolution No. 1974, which previously established salary and benefits for Part-Time, Fire
V olunteers and Police Reserves.
