Upon motion by Couneilman Phillips which was seconded by CounciLman Sehnyder~ ~aotion carried~ Councilman Gibson was appointed acting N~ayor until such tims as N;ayor Conrad shall be able to attend the meetings. ~'~inutes of previous meetin~ read and approved as read. Constable E;. F. Pearl and ~udge J. L. ~,~ebb A~ioore appeared before the Board to su~gest the passing of an Ordinance to regulate the conduct of places handling junk or seeond hand materials. Subjeet refered to City Attorney to be acted upon at the next meeting. N;r. T. A. ~obinson appeared before the Council to contest an _ ~ old water laill as being unjust and in error. =;f`ter due deliberation and u~on motion which was re~ul~=~rly moved and s~conded~ ..mo~r.ion earried~ ~ir. Robinson's bill of $14~22 was ordered reduced to $7.50.
