RESOLUTION NO. 2303
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE APPROVING OF
LOT LINE ADJUSTMENT CASE NO. 88-471 BETWEEN
JAMES WAY AND RODEO DRIVE IN TRAC'I' 1390
AND ADOPTION OF THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande has considered Lot
Line Adjustment Case No. 88-471, per Exhibit A, in accordance with Chapter 3 of
the Subdivision Ordinance of the City of Arroyo Grande ; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has found that this project is consistent with
the General Plan and the Environmental Documents associated therewith, and a
Negative Declaration has been declared under the provisions of the California
Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); and
WHEREAS, the City Council has further found that this project is consistent
with the Zoning Ordinance of the Ci ty of Arroyo Grande, and the Royal Oaks
Estates Planned Developments; and
WHEREAS, this site is physically suitable for the proposed type and density
of development because all yards. open spaces, setbacks, fences and walls,
parking areas and other features can be accommodated; and
WHEREAS. the proposed subdivision design is not likely to cause substantial
and considerable damage to the natural environment, including fish, wildlife or
their habitat; and
WHEREAS, said Lot Line Adjustment was referred to the Planning Commission,
various City Departments and the Staff Advisory Committee for recommendation.
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande
hereby approves said Lot Line Adjustment No. 88-471 subject to the following
conditions.
1. Development shall occur in substantial conformance with the plans approved
by the City Council on March 14, 1989.
On motion by Council Member Olsen, seconded by Council Member Smith, and
by the following roll call vote. to wit:
AYES: Council Members Olsen, Smith, Dougall and Mayor Millis
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: Council Member Moots
the foregoing Resolution was adopted this 14th day of March, 1989.
