in the chair.
Upon roll call Gouncilmen Conrad, Phill.ips, Schnyder and
VVhitlock reported pr esent. :tibsent~ None.
I~inutes pf previous meeting read and approved as read.
Communications read ~.nd ordered placed on file.
~r. Kenley of the ~merican Rubber Company appeared to
outline the use and ardvantages of 1~~' fire hose. ne displayed
samples the different brands of hose which his company make.
~r. Gosney of the Eureka ~'ire Hose also appear~d and displayed
samples and quoted prices of 65¢~ per ft. on double jacket light
weight hose arYd 75¢ per ft. on coarse weave hose.
Clerk instrueed to get prices on American Hose.
Street Superintendent instructed to order 5- 2~-" Fire Hydrants.
Motion rescinding nesolution of intention to Grant Electric
Franehise to Pacific Gas and Electric Company was regu~~rly~
seeonded and carried h~~:a:unanimous vote.
Resolution of Intention to Grant Eleetric Franchise to
Pacific Gas and Electric Company passed and adopted by the following
vote on roll call:
AYES: Councilmen, Conrad, Bibson, Phillips, Schnyder and Vi~hhitlock.
