and the adjaurned meeting of ~Qay 26th. ~vere read and ap~roved
as read.
Communications read and ordered filed
After disctzssion the Council authorized the purchase
of the following equipment for the Fire Dept. One large
Noz2le~Straps for the Fire Engine and Spanner ~renches.
5treet 5upt.Ewing was instructed to proceed with repair
work on P.~.RaiTway crossimgs.
Upon motion by Councilman Phillips~seconded by Councilman
Schnyder and unanimously passed the resignation of Fred ATorton
as Yolice Chief ~vas accepted.

~iayar Gibson advised th t the City had purchasse~ a
~econd block of U.S.Govt.Ser~ies F Bonds~out of surplus
'~later Funds~at a cost of $ 7400.00.
Claims against the General Fund in the amount of ~ 136T.4I~
the iN~ter Fund in the amount of $ 489.~~ and the Water Depas~.t
Fund in the amount of $ 32.0~ ~vere audited~approved and •
ardered paid. ~
