Upon rall call Councilmen Philli~s~Schnyder~Thelander
and Menny reparted present.Absent none.

E.Y.E~nds appeared and h~nde~ in his resignation as
rolice Chief.Upon motion regul~rly moved~seconded and
carried this resignation was accepted by the City Council.
~r.Ec~.nds was personally thanked by the members of the
~ouncil for his cooperative help in this matter. -

Grande aaopting budget and a~~roving memora.ndum of agreement
for ex~enditure of one fourth cent Gas Tax alloc~ted for
streets of major importance.

Upon motion by Councilman Fhillips~seconded by Councilman
Thelander and unanimously passed the Council appointed C.A.B~cKenzie
Chief of Police at a salary of I25.00 per month.
The Council authorized the printing of proper TraFfic
Citation Forms.
nfter discussion the Council gave their authorization
to the ch~nging over of their present protective insurance'
policy with the State Compens~tion Insurance Fund~maintained
for the safe guar3ing of the members of the Volunteer Fire
Dept.This to be changed to a blanket ty~~e policy.
Upon motian by Councilman Phillips~seconded by Councilman
Schnyder and passed without dissent the Cauncil agreed to
increase the salaries of Harry Hart~~:.Y.Edr~ands and B.E.
Ewing by the amount of $ T0.00 each per month.

in the amount of ae~lt $ 60.00 additional to pay for increased
c~st of secretarial helg ~auas tablEd until next meeting. -
~fter considerable discussion and review the Council
agreed to the reinstatement of the Ii~ortorium Ordinance for
one more year anly.
Claims against the General Fund in the amount of $ 594.96,
the 'r'Jater Fund in the amount of ~ 490.84~the '~ater Deposit
Fund in the amount of $ 4~.00 and the Street assmt.Fund in
. the amount of ~ 1676.~I ~~vere audited~approved and ordered
paid. !
