RESOLUTION NO. 2291
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE ELIMINATING A "TWO (2) HOUR
PARKING" ZONE ON A PORTION OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE "CAR CORRAL" PARKING LOT.
WHEREAS, the city Council of the City of Arroyo Grande is, per
section 22519 of the State of California Vehicle Code, authorized
to regulate the parking of vehicles on City off-street parking
facilities; and
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to eliminate a
II Two (2) Hour Parking" on a portion of the "Car Corral" on Branch
Street, more particularly described below:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Arroyo Grande, as follows:
That hc,reafter, eliminate the two-hour (2
hour) limited parking established on all
parking spaces within the following described
area:
Beginning at a point along the northerly line
of East Branch Street, said point being one
hundred forty five feet (145' ) northeasterly
of the intersection of the northerly line of
East Branch Street and the easterly line of
Nevada Street; thence northwesterly at right
angle with said northerly line, one hundred
fifteen feet (115' ) to a point on a wooden
retaining wall, said point, the true point of
beginning: thence northeasterly running
parallel, more or less with said northerly
line, one hundred twenty five feet (125' )
containing seven (7) parking spaces.
Please refer to attached Exhibit A for a
pictorial representation of the above
described area.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City
of Arroyo Grande be, and is hereby authorized to take out the signs
and/or markings that indicates "Two (2) Hour parking".
On motion of Council Member Dougall , seconded by
Council Member Moots and on the following roll

AYES: Council Members Dougall, Moots, Olsen, Smith and Mayor Millis
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
