RESOLUTION NO. 2290
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCil OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE ESTABLISHING A "NO PARKING"
ZONE ON A PORTION OF WEST BRANCH STREET
(MUNICIPAL CODE SEC. 2-7.04)
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to prohibit parking on "
portion of West Branch Street, as specifically described below:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande, as follows:
That a "No Parking" zone be established on the
southwesterly and southerly frontage of West Branch
Street extending from a point forty feet (40')
north of the center line of the Intersection of
Grand Avenue and West Branch Street to a point on
the southerly right-of-way line where it Intersects
the westerly right-of-way I ine of Vernon Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City of Arroyo
Grande be, and Is hereby authorized to provide and install sufficient signs
and/or markings to indicate said "No Parking" zone.
On motion of Council Member M::>ots , seconded by Counc i I Member
Dougall , and on the fol lowing rol I call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members M::>ots, Dougall, Olsen, Smith and Mayor Millis
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 14th day of
February, 1989.
