The City eouncil met in regular session with
Mayor J.,.Gib$on presiding.
Upon roll call Councilmen Schnryder and ~'helander
reported present.~bsent Counei3men Phillip$ and ~denn,y.
~inutes of previous meeting r~ad and approved. '
There were no communications to be read at this time.
Upon motion by Councilman 2helander~seconded by
~ouncilman Schnyder and unanimously passed it was agreed
- tha~ the City ~vould put up the sum oP $ I~.~O to pay
for the meals oY thre~ Speeial ~ilitary Poli~e who w~re
to be used as additional Police protection at the time
oP the H~x~vest Festival.The City Cl~rk v~as instructed to
write a letter to the ~rmy :i~uthorities requesting th~
services of these apccial Police and describing their
duties here.
Recess declared ~or the purpose of taking up the
duties of a Board of Equa3.ization.
The Board reconvenes as a Board of ~r~uesteea f or
the purpose of s~tting the tax rate for the coming year.~
~1f"ter due del3b~ration and upon motion it wa~ decided
to set the follo~ving rate.
