The City Council met in regular session with
Mayor J.~.Gibson presiding.
Upon roll call Councilmen Phillips,Schnyder~
Thelander and Menny reported present.:~baent non~.
Minutes of previous meeting read and appraved.
There v~~ere no communications to be read at this'time.
Mr.Roberts representing the Pacific Gas & Electric
Co. appeared and discussed with the Council the matter
of more powerful and effieient City ~treet Lights .After
long and complete review and discussion of this sub~eet
it was moved by Couneilman Phillips~seconded by Councilman
Theland~r and unanimously passed that the City Street
Lights hence forth be as follows~twenty four I00 Candle ~
Power~thirteen 400 Candle 1'ower and forty two 50 Candle
~'ower lights.
In a continuat3on oP the diseussion relating to the
matter of Post War Civic Planning the Council ~ave its
approval to the following four point program~ I-~. New
City Ha11~ 2_ Extension and renewal of City Water Lines~
Sewers for the tNestern ~ddition and 4_:~ Municipal
~Nater aoftner fiystem.
No f"urther business appearing and upon motion the
meeting wa.s ad j ourned.

Upon motion by Councilman Schnyder~seconded by
Councilman Thelander and unanimously passed the Council
voted a special grant of $ I00.00 as additionaT compensation
to =~ssnt.Water ~t,ipt.Routzahn~to be pa3d out of the Y~ater ,
Fund.
Claims against the General Fund in the amount
of $?60.TIlthe Water Fund in the amount of $ 698.94,the
Ineome Ta3c Fund in the amount of $ I46.40~the at.~ssmt.
Fund in the amount of $ 89.80 and the ~ater Deposit Fund
in the amount of $ 20.00 wer~ audited~approved and
ordered paid.
No further business appearing and upon motion the
meeting was adjourned.
