ARROYO GRANDE DISAWROVING THE SAN LUIS OBIS('()
COUNTY HAZARDOUS WASTE MANAGEMENT PLAN
WIffiREAS, the State of Galifornia requires the Cbunty of San Luis Obispo and the comnunities
thereof to approve a Hazardous Waste Management Plan by February 1, 1989; and
WHEREAS, the San Luis Obispo Cbunty Hazardous Waste Management Plan and Environmental
Impact Report will not be available for review until February 7, 1989, and approval of the Hazardous
Waste Management Plan may not be in the best interest of the City of Arroyo Grande.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT Im!OL VED by the City Cbuncil of the City of Arroyo Grande that:
Section 1: This City Cbuncil disapproves of the San Luis Obispo Cbunty Hazardous Waste
Management Plan.
Section 2: Following distribution of the certified E. I. R., reconsideration may be given to
approval or disapproval of the San Luis Obispo Cbunty Hazardous Waste Management Plan, before
March 10, 1989.
On motion of Cbuncil Member Dougall, seconded by Cbuncil Member Smith, and on the following
roll call vote, to wit:
A YES: Council Members Dougall, Smith, Olsen, Moots and Mayor Millis
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 24th day of January, 1989.
