RESOLUfION NO. 2268
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE Au;J!l'..~G A GRANT OF A PERPETUAL
<PEN 9>ACE EASEMENT ON LOT 1 OF TRACT 1513
PURSUANT wrm 'I1IE <PEN SPACE EASEMENT ACT OF
1974 (GOVERNMENT CODE, CHAPI'BR 6.6)
WHEREAS. the PJanning Coomission and City CbWlcil fOWld, in approving Tract 1531, that a
Perpetual Open Space Easement is desirable; and
WHEREAS. the City of Arroyo Grande supports the preservation of open space, the City
accepts a Pel'petual Open Space ElISeIIJent over Lot 1 of Tract 1513, pursuant to the following required
findings:
1. The preservation of the land as open space is consistent with the City's general plan; and
2. The preservation of the land as open space is in the best interest of the City because it is
in the public interest that the land be retained as open space because such land will help preserve the
rural character of the area in which the land is located.
WHEREAS, the Grant of EBSement shall be recorded co/JCW'renUy with the recordation of
Tract 1513.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVIID that the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande
hereby accepts a Grant of a Perpetual Open Space Easement all Lot 1, Tract 1513.
On motion by Council Member Moots, seconded by Council Member Millis, and on the following
roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Moots, Millis, Porter BIrd Mayor Mankins
NOES: None
AmENT: Cbuncil Member Johnson
The foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted ttds 9th day of Nov€1nber, 1988.
